happydapyI figure I should do a sort of intro post. Most of the people I added to my circle came from LJ and have a sort of idea who I am but since its a new journal, I figure why not.
Normally my introductions in real life consist of a simple "Hello, My name is Savannah" *handshake*.
But since I'm on Dreamwidth, the dynamic is different. The words I use, the voice that may or may not come through my writing, the grammar I use (cause I'm sort of ok with spoken grammar, but written grammar and mechanics are a train wreck with me) is different. So here's an attempt (and of course if you want to know more, PLEASE comment....I heartz teh comments!)
If I had only a paragraph to introduce myself in, I wouldn't include my stats. But since I have a plethora of paragraphs (woot alliteration) available to me here they are:
I'm a 24 year old woman. I am a bank teller (yay for being a professional counter). I'm in a long-term relationship which has been going on for 6 years and 6 months. I'm a gamer(though pretty bad at it) and a geek. In the entries to come, I'll probably show my geek side a bit more then one would anticipate. I'm a bisexual who is also a Christian (which has caused much difficulties in my head). I hate bugs and love unicorns and rainbows.
But if I only had a sentence or two I really wish I could say (or at the very least think) "Hi, I'm Savannah and even though I don't know you, I love you." Yes I know its trite, and rather reflective of what was said in V for Vendetta at one point, but I'm working towards being able to at least believe it in my head that I could say that, but its gonna be a long, long battle. Being commanded to love not only friends but enemies and people I don't know is a difficult one to do.
This of course is only a partial introduction to who I am. I, along with almost everyone I know, cannot be summed up in on a DW entry. People and life is WAY to complicated to condense to an entry. This was a start though :)
